How to Measure UK Ring Size at Home:
- Cut a Strip: Cut a thin strip of paper (about 1/4 inch wide).
- Wrap the Strip: Wrap it around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.
- Mark the Spot: Mark where the paper overlaps with a pen.
- Measure the Length: Use a ruler to measure the paper from the edge to the marked spot in millimeters.
- Find Your Size: Compare the measurement to the diameter column in the chart above to find your UK ring size.
Helpful Ring Sizing Tips:
- Temperature Affects Size: Your fingers may swell in heat and shrink in cold temperatures.
- Measure at the End of the Day: Fingers are usually largest in the evening.
- Use a Ring That Fits Well: If you have a ring that already fits well, measure the inside diameter and compare to the chart above.
- Consider the Ring Width: Wide bands may require a larger size.
- Knuckle Size: If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both places and select a size in between the two measurements.
